This special compound shreds the wet rocks, roots and mud like no Continental compound ever before. And unlike other soft compounds that go away quicker than the wind, this sticky one lasts. "The sidewalls of the Trail King are reinforced with Conti's proprietary APEX design. APEX is a unique sidewall treatment that places additional material just above the bead where it helps to reduce pinch-flatting, while also stiffening the sidewall to improve control under hard-cornering and in off-camber sections. The King is stout with an oversized casing, and puts a massive footprint to the ground for phenomenal control.
